Core platform
OPESCare
Health ID and interoperability layer
Each patient gets one Health ID that follows them across facilities, with a controlled way for those facilities to exchange records.
Modules (6)
-
Universal Health ID
One identifier per patient, valid at every facility running an OPES system.
-
Master Patient Index
Deduplication designed for English and French name variants, approximate birth dates and shared family names.
-
Health information exchange
A facility can request a patient's history from another, with consent recorded and the exchange logged on both sides.
-
Referral management
Referrals carry the clinical context, so the receiving facility knows why the patient was sent.
-
Patient portal
Patients see their records, appointments and referral status from a basic smartphone.
-
Interoperability services
Standards-based interfaces for OPES systems and, where required, third-party software.
Who it is for
Ministries and regional health delegations, hospital groups, and any facility that refers patients out or receives them in.
Every OpesCare system includes
-
The Patient Chart app
Clinicians open the patient chart on their phone: history, results, prescriptions and vitals in one place, for patients they are treating.
-
The OpesCare interoperability layer
Each patient has one Health ID. With the patient's consent, one hospital can request records from another, and every exchange is logged on both sides.
Buy it, or receive it free
-
For sale
Any facility can buy any of these systems, alone or together.
-

Community health centres, hospitals and NGO hospitals that have no system can receive one free of charge.
